High-Performance Modular Conveyor Belt Materials
Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde, is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. Produced by various chemical firms, it is commonly known by names such as Delrin, Kocetal, Ultraform, Celcon, Ramtal, Duracon, Kepital, Polypenco, Tenac, and Hostaform.
Material Characteristics
POM (Acetal): Characterized by high strength, hardness, and rigidity down to −40 °C. It is intrinsically opaque white with a density of 1.410-1.420 g/cm3.
Polypropylene (PP): A thermoplastic polymer used in wide applications. It is hard, heat-resistant, and offers high chemical resistance.
Nylon 6 (PA6): A semicrystalline polyamide formed by ring-opening polymerization, offering unique mechanical properties compared to other nylons.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is your sample policy?
We can supply the sample, but the customers have to pay for the courier cost.
How can we guarantee quality?
We follow a strict production flow and use data to evaluate all steps; sheets track back each step. We also provide a pre-production sample before mass production.
Can we customize products (OEM)?
Sure. We offer customization not only for color, design, and texture but also for labeling, marks, and more.
Do you set the MOQ and give any discount?
We do not set a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ). However, the larger the order you place, the more discount you will receive.
Which materials are best for food processing?
We recommend using our antibacterial materials and Polypropylene (PP) or POM depending on the specific temperature and chemical resistance requirements of your food processing line.
Are these belts suitable for fragile products?
Yes, our surface-closure modular belts are specifically designed for the stable conveying of glass and other fragile products to minimize breakage.
