Modular belts are constructed with modules molded from thermoplastic material connected with solid plastic rods. Except for narrow belts (one complete module or less in width), all are built with the joints between modules staggered with those of adjacent rows in a "bricklayed" fashion. This structure can enhance transverse strength and it is easy for maintain.
The total plastic and cleanable design can solve the steel belts easily polluted. Now the cleanable design make the belts very suitable for food industry area as well. Also they are widely used in many other industries, such as container making, pharmaceutical and automotive, lines of battery and so on.

The IS615 modular belt is ideal for the beverage industry (acceleration, depalletizers, accumulation), the food industry (cooling lines, pack lines), and the meat industry (tray pack lines, metal detectors).
It features a belt pitch of 31.75mm, an open area of 58%, and is assembled using solid plastic rods in a bricklayed fashion for added strength.
The belt is available in POM (dry: 5 to 80°C, wet: 5 to 65°C), PP (dry & wet: 5 to 90°C), and PE (dry & wet: -40 to +65°C) to fit different working environment requirements.
Plastic modular belts offer a completely cleanable design that eliminates rust and pollution issues typical of steel belts. This makes them highly sanitary and perfect for direct food contact.
