Powered Roller Conveyor systems comprise various components designed for both heavy-duty usage and flexibility. They consist of sprocketed thick-walled rollers, chain-to-chain or tangential (one common chain) drive mechanisms, a fully enclosed side frame, and an external shaft-mounted motor.

Unlike lighter lineshaft drive conveyors, the Chain Driven Roller Conveyor provides positive drive to all rollers simultaneously. Each roller is connected by a chain and sprocket arrangement, making slippage impossible even under high loads.

These systems are flexible and can incorporate accessories such as 90-degree cross transfers and powered turntables. By dividing the roller bed into sections, accumulation can also be achieved, making it an ideal choice for streamlining production flow and buffer storage.
