Chevron Conveyor Belts are used primarily when the angle of incline becomes too steep for a smooth conventional Conveyor Belt.
The Belt is fitted with integrally moulded Cleats which prevent the material from sliding backwards as would be the case with a smooth surface belt.
Different cleat designs allow the carrying of many types of material, from bulk solids to unit loads. The angle of inclination that can be provided is up to 30° for Crusher application.
Anti-slip ripstop conveyor belt with cleats/chevron pattern belt is suitable for conveying bulk materials at large inclination angles, it can prevent materials from slipping down efficiently.
It is widely applied to the industries including ports, metallurgy, casting, coking, mining, thermoelectrical plant, steelworks, hydroelectric station construction site, coal mine, recycling, foundry, building materials, agriculture, quarry, sand factory, fertilizer or chemical plant and other bulk materials handling areas.
